A Diplomate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Zaidman specializes in cornea and external diseases of the eye. He routinely performs corneal transplants, Lasik surgery and cataract surgery in patients of all ages. After earning his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, he completed a residency in ophthalmology at Lenox Hill Hospital. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Corneal and External Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh where his passion to treat infants and children with corneal diseases was first sparked. He has nurtured the Pediatric Keratoplasty Association for almost 30 years and is proud of the work the association has done to promote the treatment of children with corneal diseases.
